Bex Glover is a contemporary artist and commercial illustrator, creating abstract, nature inspired artwork with an urban aesthetic. As well as working in digital mediums, she uses acrylic, spray paint and marker to create her physical pieces. Bex's work deconstructs the organic world, exploring shape, geometry, intersecting lines and the fusion of foreground and background elements in vibrant colour palettes and atmospheric layers. She has worked on a diverse range of projects from restaurant and shop murals, to artwork for books, museums and public installations. Exhibitions and events have included live painting at Upfest urban paint festival and the Smile Britannia urban art auction at the Houses of Parliament, with work featured in publications including ?Illustration Now! 5? by TASCHEN, Grafik Magazine and The Mighty Pencil Volumes 1 & 2.
Bex is currently based in Bristol UK, where she runs freelance art and design practice Severn Studios.
